Midthunder is part of the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribe. She was born on the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico, and eventually went back there following a large portion of her childhood at Santa Fe, where she attended an Academy for Technology and the Classics and her mother worked in a casting firm. Amber originates from a Native American family on her dad's side. They are both members of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber has mixed ancestry because her mother is an adopted. Prey features a majority Native American ensemble, with Dakota Beavers playing Naru's older brother, and Jhane myers serving as producer. Jhane is Comanche and Blackfeet and has been a consultant to the show on a couple of occasions. Coco as the animal actress who plays Sarii in the film was selected for her special breed, the American Dingo. This breed is also referred to as the Carolina Dog and it's one of the oldest in existence.
There's a deeper message to all this; throughout the film, TJ recounts how much he loves Amanda and how she's his everything (although some of the narration may be a reference to the daughter if we analyze it more). He expressed his love to her, and she turned his offer down since she had been dating Daniel. Jack later got married Amanda. Emily then revealed the identity of Emily following Amanda's death. Seit then, the two are best of friends. They are married at the end of the series. Amanda and Wilf kiss only at midnight. Won the entire prize pool by yourself
